Snow Day Procedure
All student absences, regardless of whether or not a student is a walker or uses transportation need to be reported using the absence reporting tool on our website: www.shingwakonsps.ocdsb.ca
If you are choosing to drop your child off here is the procedure.
Drop-off
1. Kiss N' Ride (Kinder and Gr. 1) remains open.
2. Those that usually walk/drive - drop off as per usual
3. Those that normally take the bus, please drop off using our bus lane should you wish to drop off and go or park at the bus lane end on Rubicon or Rouncey and walk your child to the gate.
Pick-up
1. All pick-up must be done by 4:00 pm
2. For those who walk or drive daily - pick up as usual
3. For those who usually take the bus, please pick up at the bus lane end on Rouncey. Our bus students will be waiting in their bus lines. It will help if you know your child's bus number.
